The Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous monuments in the world and is also the emblem of Paris. This is definitely one of the must-see places in Paris. It is the second most visited building in France after the Notre-Dame-de-Paris cathedral. The tower has 15,000 steel sections held together by 2.5 million rivets. The Eiffel Tower was designed in 1889 for the Paris Exhibition by Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel.  It is 325 meters high (1066 ft) and was the highest building in the world until 1938 when the Chrysler Building was built in New York City.

The Louvre Museum
The Louvre Museum is another beautiful place to visit in Paris. This Museum served as home to France’s King for 300 years and became museum of arts in 1793. This museum gathers over 3000 work of arts Ancient Egypt to the Romantic Period.

Château de Versailles
Château de Versailles is another beautiful place to visit if you travel to Paris. It served as home to the Sun King Louis XIV and his other descendants Louis XV and Louis XVI.

Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris
The construction of the Notre-Dame Cathedral took over 150 years and it was founded in 1163 by King Louis IX (Saint Louis) and Bishop Maurice de Sully. It is located at the heart of Paris on the Ile de la Cité and served as the main symbol of Paris before the Eiffel tower was built.

Père Lachaise cemetery
This Cemetery is one of the most famous cemeteries in the world and the biggest in the Paris. In this Cemetery, you can find the graves of many famous people.

Musee d'Orsay
This is one of Paris’ top attractions. The Orsay Museum is a great place to get an overview of Impressionist art history and it features the works of all the masters of impressionism.

Jardin des Tuileries
The Jardin des Tuileries was designed by the famous royal gardener. This site has large alleys, beautiful fountains and amazing statues that were made by the greatest French sculptors.
